This is not something I've seen in pictures of other 28Bs. What makes it unusual? The chrome-plated slides. Valves are typical of Connstellations from the period and practically flawless. There are obvious post-production modifications or repairs (mouthpiece receiver is unoriginal, missing valve cap replaced, shoddy resoldering work that a tech just beautifully remedied, etc.). Popular among jazz players of the day and considered a generally high-quality trumpet.
